When a growing industrial client in London realised their existing yard couldn’t keep up with operational demands, they needed more than just extra space — they needed a smarter, more durable setup. The goal was clear: develop a high-performance yard that could handle heavier loads, support future growth, and fix ongoing drainage issues. But it had to happen without disrupting supply chain activity.
We began by working closely with the client to reimagine their yard layout — one that would improve traffic flow, boost safety, and stand the test of time. At the heart of the project was heavy-duty yard concreting in London, reinforced to withstand constant HGV traffic and reduce wear over time.
Drainage was a major concern, with pooling water causing hazards in the existing yard. We designed and installed a fully integrated drainage system to solve the issue permanently — improving safety and reducing long-term maintenance needs. The build itself was carefully phased to keep critical access routes open throughout. With close coordination between our team and the client’s site managers, the project progressed smoothly without disrupting deliveries or day-to-day operations.
