Yard Concreting in Nuneaton

The entrance to a logistics yard in Nuneaton had fallen into disrepair. For a site handling constant vehicle movements, a deteriorated yard entrance is more than a maintenance issue. It creates a safety risk for drivers and pedestrians, causes wear to fleet vehicles and presents a poor first impression to every driver and visitor arriving on site. PKB Civils were brought in to resolve it properly.

Over a two-week programme, PKB installed 100m² of new reinforced concrete across the logistics yard entrance in Nuneaton. The slab was reinforced throughout to ensure long-term durability under the constant loading of HGVs and heavy vehicles passing in and out of the site daily. A brushed finish was applied to provide a slip-resistant surface suited to the demands of a busy logistics entrance in all weather conditions.

The completed logistics yard entrance repair delivered a safe, solid surface that the site can rely on long term. The two-week programme was kept tight to minimise any impact on vehicle access and operations, leaving the client with a properly specified entrance that performs as it should.
