Groundworks projects in Greater Manchester

Modular building groundworks, Manchester

A school in Manchester needed a full enabling package before a modular building could be craned into position. We installed the foundation pads, ran the drainage connections and electrical trenching, poured the concrete skirting around the perimeter, and fitted access ramps before and after the lift. The whole package was sequenced around the crane programme and delivered inside a two week window.

Yard concrete installation, Rochdale

A springs manufacturer in Rochdale had ground conditions that made a safe one-way traffic system impossible. We installed 500m² of new yard concrete over a four to five week programme, giving a consistent surface across the full footprint. All excavated material was compacted into an internal pit on site rather than tipped, which kept heavy vehicle movements off a working manufacturing site.

Yard extension and retaining wall, Bolton

A builders merchant in Bolton had run out of usable yard. We reinforced the existing retaining wall and poured 400m² of new reinforced concrete to bring an adjacent car park area into use, specified for high traffic loading. The yard stayed open and trading throughout, with deliveries and customer access kept clear at every stage.
