Our head office and yard are in Rochdale, so Greater Manchester is not a region we travel to. It is where our crews are based, where our plant is kept, and where we work most weeks of the year.
Most of our Greater Manchester groundworks is on sites that cannot stop: a builders merchant still taking deliveries, a manufacturing site running shifts, a school with a two week window in the holidays. That changes how a job is planned, not just how it is priced.
We handle the full package in house, from survey to finished surface: excavation and muck away, foundations, drainage and service ducting, retaining walls, reinforced slabs, surfacing and line marking. The crews and plant are ours, so we are not waiting on a subcontractor's diary.

Yes, and most of our Greater Manchester work is done that way. We phase the works so vehicle routes, deliveries and pedestrian access stay clear, agree the sequence with your site team before we start, and keep the working area swept and separated throughout.
Yes. Groundworks, drainage, concreting and surfacing are all delivered by PKB crews using our own equipment. No subcontract chain: one point of contact, one programme and one company accountable for the finish.
We walk the site with you and look at ground conditions, drainage, loading and access. You get a safety and compliance review, a budget and cost analysis, a phasing and maintenance plan, and recommendations specific to your site. There is no obligation to go ahead.
No. Greater Manchester is our home region and our busiest area, but we work on operational sites across the UK, from Glasgow to Poole.
